How to Use a Citrus Cleaner for Hair Systems

  1. Prepare Your Work Area
    • Have a mirror, paper towels, a fine-tooth comb, and your citrus-based cleaner ready.
    • Work in a well-ventilated space, as citrus cleaners can have a strong scent.
  2. Apply the Citrus Cleaner
    • Spray or apply the citrus cleaner along the adhesive or tape areas of the hair system.
    • Let it sit for about 1–2 minutes to dissolve the bond effectively.
  3. Gently Remove the Hair System
    • Slowly lift the system from one corner while adding more cleaner as needed.
    • Avoid forcefully pulling—apply more solution if there’s resistance.
  4. Remove Residue from Scalp & Lace/Base
    • Use a cloth or paper towel soaked in citrus cleaner to gently wipe away residue from the scalp.
    • For the hair system, spray some cleaner on the lace or base and gently clean off any leftover adhesive.
  5. Clean & Wash
    • Wash your scalp and the hair system with a gentle shampoo to remove any remaining citrus cleaner.
    • Let everything dry completely before reapplying adhesive or tape.
