Shipping Policy
Treat Project BV strives to ship orders as quickly and carefully as possible. Below are the shipping conditions and important information regarding shipping.
1. Shipping Parties
We use reputable shipping parties to ensure that packages are delivered safely and on time. The exact shipping lot is selected based on location and chosen shipping method.
2. Recipient data
In order to carry out the shipment correctly, the shipping parties ask for the following information:
- Recipient Name (required)
- Possibly company name (optional)
- Recipient’s address:
- Street – house number (required)
- If applicable, additions such as door codes etc. (optional)
- Postal code – city (required)
- Country (required)
- Phone number (required)
- E-mail address (required)
Please check the address details after entry to avoid delays in delivery.
3. Shipping Rates
For shipments with GLS (within Europe), we use fixed rates that are reviewed annually. Shipping costs when using FedEx or UPS are calculated based on:
Order weight and dimensions
Destination country
Any discounts or promotions that apply
Clear information about the shipping costs will be shown during checkout.
Increased shipping costs to the United Kingdom due to Brexit
For shipments to the United Kingdom, shipping costs have increased due to Brexit-related costs. This surcharge is in addition to the transport costs.
Orders up to €150 will receive a surcharge of €3.50* on the shipping costs.
Orders above €150 will receive an increased surcharge consisting of:
Customs clearance (douaneafhandeling): €15,00* (import in VK)
Preparation of customs documents: €12.50* (export from NL)
Please keep this in mind when placing an order to the United Kingdom.
Increased shipping costs for islands within European borders
If an order has to be sent to a location that is not on the mainland of Europe, an island surcharge will be charged. This surcharge is €27.50 and is included in the shipping costs shown.

4. Delivery times
The estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Within the Netherlands and Belgium: 1-2 working days
- Within the EU: 2-6 business days
- International: 3-7 business days
Please note that delivery times depend on the chosen shipping method and unforeseen circumstances such as delays at the shipping party may have an impact.
5. Shipping confirmation and tracking
After placing an order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number (if available). This allows you to track the package.
6. Undelivered packages
If a package has not been delivered within the expected delivery time, please contact us. We will work with the shipping party to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The sooner you contact us about this, the sooner we can take action and investigate.
