At Treat Project, we supply professional hair system products to customers across Europe and beyond. Transparency and responsibility are important to us — especially when it comes to product origin, usage, and regulatory matters.

This page explains how certain products are classified and supplied within our webshop.

Professional products – manufactured outside the EU

Many bonding-related products in our webshop (including tapes, adhesives and removers) are manufactured in the United States.

At this time, these manufacturers do not provide:

  • An EU Responsible Person registration
  • Full EU regulatory documentation suitable for resale certification (such as REACH / CLP files)
  • CE marking (not applicable to these product categories)

As a result, Treat Project BV cannot supply EU compliance certificates or regulatory documentation for these products.

These items are therefore supplied strictly for professional use.

Responsibility for resale and local compliance

By purchasing professional bonding products from Treat Project, the buyer confirms that they are acting in a professional capacity and accepts responsibility for:

  • Local regulatory compliance
  • Product labeling and translations
  • End-user communication
  • Safe application and usage
  • Any resale obligations under local law

Treat Project BV acts as a distributor only and does not assume liability for downstream resale or professional application.

If your business requires fully EU-certified bonding products with an EU Responsible Person, these specific products may not be suitable for your operation.

Cosmetics vs bonding products

Some care products such as shampoos and conditioners may fall under EU cosmetic regulations.

Bonding products (tapes, glues, removers) are classified differently and are supplied as professional technical products rather than registered cosmetics.

Each product category follows its own regulatory framework.

B2C and B2B orders

Treat Project serves both private customers and professionals.

Smaller professional orders (a few items per order) are processed under the same structure as regular webshop purchases.

For larger professional orders, salon cooperation and volume-based discounts may be discussed.
