Understanding Hair System Colors

Hair system colors are typically coded with a base color number and an optional suffix that indicates the percentage of grey hair. The base color represents the color your Bio Hair would have, ensuring a seamless transition when wearing the system. You are free to choose a different base color, but if you still have natural hair—which will be visible when wearing the system—the base color should ideally match your natural hair color. Here’s how it works:

Base Color

  • The number before the suffix (like #1, #2, #3) represents the primary hair color:
    • #1 → Jet Black
    • #1B → Black/Brown
    • #2 → Dark Brown
    • #3 → Medium Brown
    • #4 → Light Brown
    • #5 → Dark Blonde
    • #6 → Medium Blonde
    • etc.

Grey Percentage

  • The numbers after the base color (like 05, 10, 20, etc.) indicate the approximate percentage of grey hair blended into that base color:
    • 05 → ~5% grey
    • 10 → ~10% grey
    • 20 → ~20% grey
    • 30 → ~30% grey
    • and so on…

For example:

  • #1B05 → Black/Brown with 5% grey
  • #2B10 → Dark Brown with 10% grey

Purpose

Including a small percentage of grey creates a more natural look, mimicking how real hair naturally contains some grey, especially around the temples or hairline.

Notes

  • Not all colors have grey versions—only selected shades.
  • “B” or “ASH” or “R” in the code may indicate subtle tone variations like ash, warm, or natural.
