How Your Order Travels from Us to You

At Treat Project BV, we take shipping seriously—but not too seriously. Our mission: to get your order out the door quickly, carefully, and into your hands without drama. Whether you’re in Berlin, Brisbane, or just around the corner in Zeewolde, We’ll do our absolute best to get your package out the door quickly and securely. Below, you’ll find all the essential details about our shipping process.

1. Shipping Carriers

Your package deserves a smooth ride, so we work with professional couriers like GLS, FedEx, and UPS—carefully chosen based on your destination and selected shipping method.
No untracked mystery mail—just reliable parcel delivery from the Netherlands to almost anywhere in the world.
No carrier pigeons—promise!

2. Shipping Info We Need From You

To get your goodies to the right place without delays, We’ll need the following:

  • Full name (required)
  • Company name (optional)
  • Shipping address
    • Street + number (required)
    • Extra info like building, apartment, or door code (optional)
    • Postal code + city (required)
    • Country (required)
  • Phone number (required)
  • Email address (required)

Tip: One tiny typo can send your order on an unexpected holiday. Double-check everything before confirming!

3. Where we Ship to

We ship within the EU and, yes, worldwide under certain conditions. Orders are processed daily from my warehouse in Zeewolde, the Netherlands (except weekends, public holidays, or the rare vacation moment).

A few special cases:

Orders placed after courier pickup times ship the next business day.

Hazardous items (like adhesives and removers) can only be shipped by road—so only to destinations reachable via land transport from the Netherlands.

For customers in the USA, some restricted items might be shipped directly from the manufacturer within the States (lucky you).

4. Shipping Rates & Surcharges

Shipping isn’t one-size-fits-all, so here’s how it works:

GLS (EU destinations)Fixed rates, updated once a year. Simple and predictable.

FedEx & UPS (international EU and Non-EU but no Dangerous Goods!!)Rates depend on

  • Order size & weight
  • Shipping destination
  • Active promotions or discounts

All shipping costs are calculated transparently at checkout. No hidden surprises.

A Special Note for UK Customers (Thanks, Brexit!)

Shipping to the UK now includes a few extra hoops (and fees):

  • Base transport cost: €10.50
  • Orders under €150: + €4.50 Brexit surcharge
  • Orders over €150:
    • €15.00 for UK customs clearance
    • €12.00 for export documentation from NL
    • Total surcharge: €27.00

We’ll handle all the red tape—just keep the fees in mind when ordering.

Island Surcharge (Still Europe, Just More… Surrounded by Water)

Orders heading to European islands (not connected to the mainland) include a €27.50 island surcharge, already included in the displayed shipping cost.

All rates valid as of 2025.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

Need it fast? We’ll do our best—but here’s what to expect:

  • Netherlands & Belgium: 1–2 business days
  • Within the EU: 2–6 business days
  • Outside the EU: 3–7 business days

Actual transit time depends on your location, your chosen shipping method, and the mood of international customs. We’ll keep things moving from our end!

6. Order Pickup (If You’re Local)

Want to swing by and pick up your order in Zeewolde? Carolien would love to see you—but she not always in. Please contact us first to schedule a pickup time so we can make sure someone (Carolien) is there to open the door

7. Order Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number (if available). Follow your package’s adventure from us to you in real-time.

8. Missing Package?

If your order hasn’t arrived on time, don’t stay silent—get in touch! The sooner we know, the sooner we can chase it down with the courier. We’ll do everything we can to help resolve it quickly.
